Elks National Foundation

Final Report Lodge Year 2004-2005

Because of the tremendous generosity of our members, Milford Lodge ended the lodge year at $11.13 per member donated to the Elks National Foundation. That puts us in 9th place in the state association level according to the latest data from Grand Lodge. Also we are at 206th out of 2,121 lodges nationally.

I would like to personally thank every individual that gave to this very worthwhile cause that benefits so many people. ENF gives back roughly $1.50 to the MD, DE and DC Elks for every $1.00 we donate. This money helps fund many things such as Elks Camp Barrett, scholarships, hoop shoots and soccer shoots.

Now that the new lodge year has started, please consider giving. My goal this year is $11.50 per member. I’m sure this lodge will come through as always.

Giving is easy. You can start a pledge or make a donation whenever you feel you can. If you haven’t donated before, just contact me and I’ll answer any questions you have or I will find out the answer. All donations are tax-deductible.

I also have a new collection of donor stickers if anyone would like one on their membership card.
